Can I purchase products from outside of the UK?
Currently, we only sell within the UK. If you are based outside of the UK, we’re afraid that we will not be able to ship products to you. However, give us time and hopefully we will be able to soon!
How do I pay for my order?
You will be directed to Paypal to pay for you order. We accept debit and credit card payments. We can’t yet take orders over the telephone. However, you can order our products over the telephone from our main stockist – Dr Beynon’s Bug Farm. Their telephone number is 07966 956357. Their phone is manned from 10:30am-4:30pm when The Bug Farm is open (see thebugfarm.co.uk). Please leave a message if you are not able to get through.
How will my insects be delivered?
All orders are sent via Royal Mail.
How much will it cost to deliver my order?
Can I track my order?
Email confirmation is sent when your order is dispatched. Expedited Delivery, and selected high value shipping orders will be allocated a tracking number which is added to your order notes.
How is my order packaged?
Your order is packaged boxed or in a secure mail bag. We either use compostable, biodegradable, recyclable or recycled packaging to reduce our impact on the environment.
When is my order dispatched?
We do our very best to dispatch orders received by 1pm Monday to Friday on the same day.
Can my order be delivered without a signature?
Royal Mail 2nd class and 1st class shipping orders do not require a signature and some of our products may be delivered in letterbox friendly packaging. Orders sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm will require a signature on delivery. In the event you’re not in to sign for your delivery a card will be left detailing re-delivery or collection instructions.
What if my order hasn’t arrived?
If after 4 working days (1st class shipping) or 2 working days (Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm) you have not received your order please contact us.
What is your return & refund policy?
Thanks for shopping at Bug Farm Foods Ltd. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Orders cancelled prior to dispatch are fully refunded.
For items returned within 14 calendar days, once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
